-Upper left: lower intertidal portion of bedrock slope on southwest side of beach
note dominant green seaweeds with largely green ribbon and sea lettuce
plus brown rock weed above this
-Upper right: mid-intertidal portion of bedrock slope on southwest side of beach [artificial
boulder patch on right side which likely serves as partial breakwater for boat
ramp] Note: dominant Pacific blue mussels.
-Lower: large rock on boulder patch in mid-intertidal visible on right side upper right photo.
Note: well developed green ribbon which is likely an indicator of the absence
of predators such as limpets.
